The associate pastor at my parish gave an excellent homily this past Sunday on the recently deceased Senator Ted Kennedy.  He discussed how Kennedy was upheld by many as a statesman and a good Catholic, and effectively was given an implied ‘pass’ by two Cardinals willing to be involved in the Mass and burial. 

 

The associate pastor stated Kennedy was not a good Catholic, due to espousing Abortion, euthanasia, stem cell research, and homosexual marriage.  The pretension of ‘goodness’ by the two prelates is nearly as scandalous as the Notre Dame fiasco of awarding Obama an honorary degree.  Unfortunately, the associate pastor continued, convenience and ‘keeping the peace’ prevailed over faith and morals and has sent a very dangerous message to the church. 

 

The most impressive line the associate pastor gave was, ‘We cannot accept unity in error simply to keep the peace, but we have to strive for unity in the truth, which is the only way to have unity”.  It is in this that one wonders what the prelates (or for that matter most of the American church hierarchy) actually believe.

 

I also could not help but notice that during communion, the networks (we watched most of the funeral, and changed channels to note the coverage) did not show the communicants, but focused on the stained glass windows, and votive candles.  We surmised that the networks were told to not focus on the communicants, as at least someone may have understood the scandal of violating Cannon 915 on live television.  There were plenty of pro death Catholic participants there who very well may have presented themselves for communion, which would be a clear violation of Cannon 915.

 

One does not know the state of Senator Kennedy’s soul at the time of his death, and I personally hope it was good.  But one cannot ignore a lifetime of scandalous positions held during 46 years in the senate.  Kennedy personally ‘Borked” the supreme court into maintaining the status quo of Roe, and was consistent in his support for stem cell research and euthanasia.  How can he really be considered a good Catholic, or a role model for future legislators?

 

The prelates and the church in general had a prime ‘teaching moment’ and they ‘turned the other cheek’.  It will be very difficult for them in the future when they do need to stand up for the faith, as they continue to chip away at the little amount of credibility they still have.

 

What about the faithful?  Who are they to turn to on issues of faith and morals?  We have witnessed the USCCB thumbing its nose at Rome on many occasions, and this has resulted in many priests thumbing their noses at the USCCB or individual bishops (Fr. Jenkins at Notre Dame disobeying Bishop D’Arcy).  The church is meant to have an authoritative hierarchy, and once this ‘chain of command’ is breached, then semblances of anarchy begin to rule.  This is what is beginning to take place.

 

It is sad that opportunity, prestige and social status are more important than faith and morals.  Time and time again, the bishops have fallen short of their duties to up hold the faith like the Apostles did.  It is no wonder 54% of Catholics voted for Obama, and the majority of Catholics believe that the economy, health care, energy and safety are more important than spiritual growth and following the faith.  When it comes to true leadership and faith by deed instead of word, we Catholic laity (and some faithful priests and a few bishops) are on our own

I happened across this blog entry by ‘Chattahbox” that was linked by a respectable Christian site I frequent daily.  It is rather amazing, of all the stories that covered the Reston town hall meeting, this one was chosen.  I don’t know who ‘chattahbox’ is nor do I know if he/she was at this meeting, but there needs to be some obvious clarifications of his/her take on this.

 

I also could not help but notice that Mr. Chattahbox disallowed any comments on this particular post, and has utilized the old worn out liberal move of dropping ‘verbal bombs’ and then running away without allowing any debate or discussion.  Such contradictory behaviors for ‘open minded’ people.

 

Yes, we did do skits that were graphic (I was the man in the obama mask ‘whipping’ 2 taxpayers) and they made the point.  However, what you, Mr. Chattahbox, did leave out was the fact WE were threatened with bodily harm by a ‘love spreading’ liberal, and never did we threaten anyone, nor did Randall Terry instruct us to threaten anyone with bodily harm, then or ever.

 

It is interesting that people like Mr. Chattahbox, are appalled by fake skits that we put on, but are the ones that frequent very graphic movies such as Halloween I, II, III, IV, V, Friday the 13^th I, II, III, IV, V, Saw I, II, III, Hostile, etc and get aggravated when called on this disgusting behavior.  It’s really interesting what passes for ‘harmless entertainment’ and ‘offensive’ as labeled by the liberal anti lifers.

 

Now, Mr. Chattahbox, you need to document the supposed threats Mr. Terry allegedly made.  When did they happen and what source are you getting this from?  Disrupting a meeting is not violence and liberals do this all the time in other arenas (tree huggers and PETA, and they are violent at times).  In the time I have known Randall Terry, he has never advocated violence or condoned it.  In fact he went out of his way to talk with the same man who threatened to ‘take him out’.  That wasn’t covered in your blog.

 

We went into the gymnasium, and it was some ACORN people who began a chant, with green shirted union thugs watching on the side.  I noticed that wasn’t mentioned either.  We stayed silent for the hour that Rep. Moran droned on, and yelled when Rep. Moran introduced Dean.  We were surrounded by a hostile crowd who were threatening us.  Randall Terry left of his own accord when asked by the police. He was not dragged out, and none of the police officers even needed to touch him.  I know because I was standing next to him when this happened.

 

Yes, Mr. Chattahbox, we who believe in freedom did use our rights to express that freedom, but because it doesn’t fit your liberal point of view, it is labeled extremist.  That’s ok though, because it is people like us who would and will stand up for people like you when the thugs come for you.  Next time Mr. Chattahbox, work on the facts, or in your words ‘git it rite’

Massachusetts is known for its role in the revolutionary war as the starting point of the conflict for freedom and liberty.  Now it will be known as the starting point for the death of freedom and liberty.  The Massachusetts legislature has made it a CRIME to decline taking the vaccine for the ‘swine’ flu if mandated by either national emergency or by WHO decree.  Since when is making a self determining decision for one’s health a crime?  Is this the new ‘American way”? Now, many may say “well, I don’t live in Massachusetts, so why should I be concerned”?  Well, because if one state can mandate treatment, and make non compliance a crime, so can others.  Besides, if you wait, who will be left to defend your rights?  We are seeing our rights being taken away, but at a very rapid pace compared to just a year ago or so.

 

It was only a matter of time before some ‘crisis’ was going to take place.  We have been setting ourselves up for this for decades, and have been numbed into complacency.  This appears to be ready to end.  What are we going to do about it?

Obama gets billions for ‘pandemic’ Swine Flu

  

We are now beginning to reap what we have sown the past 36 years.  When a society can justify killing its most innocent, there is no limit to which it then cannot justify the elimination of others for almost any reason.  It is extremely unbelievable that many can continue to dismiss this as ‘conspiracy’ by the right wing when the evidence is as clear as a bright sunny summer day.

 

This fall will be an interesting time for us in America.  We will definitely be tested in our beliefs, and unfortunately, most will sell out big time due to lack of preparation and lack of faith. God only gives so much time to straighten out, and if not done on HIS timetable, sends judgments.  Are we on the verge of judgment?

About 12 of us met at South Lakes high school yesterday afternoon for the Reston town hall meeting hosted by Rep. James Moran (D) 8^th district in Virginia.  We arrived at about 3:30 pm, and started out doing a skit that incorporated ‘killing granny’ and ‘killing infants’ using plastic dolls.  We then started a second skit with Obama using a whip to strike two taxpayers and threatening them with death as well.

 

The skits were broadcast on local and national news, and also ended up on local radio and you tube videos.  Most of the people took the skits in stride, but there were some hard feelings with a few people, and both Randall Terry and I were threatened by a ‘ love spreading liberal’ with bodily harm.  Fortunately, cooler heads prevailed and we were able to get into the gymnasium for the town hall meeting.

 

We ended up getting seats in about the 10^th row in the middle section.  The crowd was very full of energy, and the split was very close to half on each side.  Our plan was to disrupt the talk of Howard Dean, the keynote speaker for the event.  Rep. Moran promised to speak for 30 minutes, have Dean on, then open up the floor to questions for the rest of the meeting. 

 

Rep. Moran droned on for over an hour prior to introducing Dean.  Once the introduction was made, and the crowd quieted down, Randall Terry was up on his seat yelling “Baby killer” to Dean, the rest of us then stood up and began to chant “we won’t pay for murder”.  It seemed like multiples of people converged on us, and we were surrounded by very hostile people.  Despite this we continued with our chant until the police finally removed us about 7 minutes after starting the chant.  You tube link below.

We then found out via a few people that were able to remain in the gymnasium that Dean was not able to speak, and thus we had accomplished our goal.  Dean, being one of the most prominent democrats and pro health care advocates, needed to make a good showing here for an Obama moment, and he was not able to pull it off.  This is truly a good example of the tireless minority pulling off an improbable victory.

I was able to spend some time with my nephew Doug recently.  He is a remarkable young man who has been through some horrendous life experiences, and fortunately, has come out of them much healthier and stronger than before.  I had the privilege to be part of this process, having gone through some of my own traumatic experiences 27 years earlier. 

 

Trauma and life threatening events have a way of bringing great clarity to most events in life, and once the blinders are removed, nearly impossible to return to one’s prior state of being. There is no desire to go back to that state, but great challenges in living out the alternative reality that life is not fair, and ultimately, I am accountable for my life and the decisions I make.

We were discussing some rather challenging subjects, having to do with the future, when we got to the point of determining what value life has.  I told him “living the longest is not the goal, but living the best is.”  We then discussed how convenient it is to do little to nothing when challenged, but how difficult it is to then excuse this cowardice. 

 

I often hear from people the excuse “This is small but I will be there when the large life events occur”.  It seems most are not aware that the small events are practice leading up to the large events in life.  Why would one, who does not act in small events due to inconvenience, all of a sudden act on the large events with potential catastrophic consequences?  The sad truth is they will not.

 

It seems too many people, including Christians are caught up in their ‘image’ and are more concerned about the next party invitation and status than being ‘inconvenienced’ by challenges and the truth.  Unfortunately for them, God is a God of inconvenience, and shows up at the most unexpected times and places.  We have to be prepared for this and this preparation is ‘dying to self daily’. 

 

I told Doug this is my biggest challenge.  Dying to self every day is preparation for the day I am called from this life.  Some days go better than others, but it is not convenient, comfortable or easy when challenged.  We then discussed fear.  I know as a human I will be afraid of death the day it comes, but I believe God will give me the strength when I need it, as this has been the case in almost all matters that require faith.  This is what I’m counting on.

 

I have had many people tell me recently to ‘lay low and don’t draw attention to yourself”.  This may be their calling, but not mine.  I know the time is drawing near when we will be called to sacrifice greatly and the preparation must take place when there is at least some semblance of calm and freedom to do so. It may seem foolish to some to fight what appears to be an unwinnable battle but ultimately no one knows that for a fact.  The only true ‘unwinnable’ battle is the one not fought.  

We all have to make decisions in life that require taking sides.  The Christian way of life is getting to look more ‘foolish’ by the day, as sin progresses and God appears to be doing nothing or not listening.  Don’t worry, this is going to change and probably sooner than later.  In the mean time, I will continue working on dying to self daily and looking like the fool.  My greatest fear is not dying as a fool, but living as a coward

We now are seeing the full extent of what the current occupation of the White House has to offer.  Barry has upgraded the cost of his shenanigans to 9 trillion dollars over the next 10 years.  This ‘adjustment’ works out to 30K per man woman and child in this country.  I don’t know about you, but this will cover the health insurance premiums for my whole family the remainder of my work life.

 

And what are we getting for all of this?  Rationed care, ‘end of life’ counseling and ultimately, others deciding when your life ends and what treatment you will get.  Sounds similar to abortion, but to those already ‘out in the world’.  Now, who ‘didn’t’ see this coming?  Anyone wanting something for nothing as well as those who chase security, compromise and comfort.

 

If this passes, we will no longer have control over our bodies (except for abortion which will increase).  We will be beholden to the state for decisions that are meant to be private, and with electronic records, access by whoever may wish to look within the government or other sanctioned bodies.  This is nothing short of slavery, and paid for by the fleeced.

 

We have very little time left for this country to turn around, if possible, and the majority still engages in fluff and puff.  Most people seem to be numb to this, and yes it is good to see some passion at the town hall meetings.  But overall the death march continues nearly unabated and most don’t want to be bothered to do much about it.

 

Do you really believe God is watching all of this in an impartial and detached way?  God will treat this country the way it has treated the most vulnerable in society the past 36 years: with deafening silence.  We soon will reap what we so deserve without massive changes in spiritual directions. I’ve long told the ‘death scorts’ at the mill, we will be marched against our will to places we do not want to go, and no one will be there protesting.

 

We need to wake up NOW, do something NOW, pray and fast NOW and prepare ourselves and our families NOW.  Is this too radical?  Only if you were born yesterday (odds are you would have been aborted).  Whatever is stopping us will be taken away, and we don’t want to be caught in this next phase of our existence wishing we had done more.

 

There will be more negative comments about my comments than the atrocities soon to visit us.  What a shame.  The fleeced are slaves, and our beloved republic soon to be on the ash heap of history.

I've always heard If you want excitement, go on vacation.  Well sure enough, it has happened.

Obama's hell care, er, health scare, er, health care is getting the notoriety it deserves.  Welcome to Amerika.  I wonder if the people who voted for this guy are beginning to understand what they got into.  We are also finding out that the Army National Guard are now recruiting for internment/relocation specialists for the near future.  We are also looking at 'mandatory' vaccinations against the government created pandemic of swine flu.  I also read that one can be detained 'indefinitely' if refusing this vaccine.  Where's the right to your own body?

I will be addressing these issues more in-depth in the very near future, but I think I want to enjoy whatever fleeting freedom I still have.  Until then, contact your representatives and protest this.

COMMENTS ON YESTERDAY’S SATIRE PIECE.

I received many compliments on yesterday’s satire piece stating it was well written and witty.  There were a few people that also thought this was a true story, and one of them even went to the trouble of looking up the yooper news wire and wanted to locate other links to the story.

 

Just to be clear, in the future, use of the yooper news wire will immediately follow whatever outrageous headline I put up.  I will also leave my name out of the article.  If need be, I will note this as a parody at the end of the article.

 

I am very honored that the story seemed realistic, but it is also a demonstration of how pathetic our society has become, that such an outlandish notion that a ‘fetus’ could bite a ‘doctor’ and he could sue someone for this.

 

As far as I’m concerned, all abortionists are Lucifer S. Morningstar’s and all abortuaries are The Only Choice as made out by the so called ‘pro choice’ people.  Anti life or pro death is the real term that should be used.

 

It is also very true that fetal parts are sold and utilized in not only research, but also used in vaccines.  I recently came across an article about this subject and it was very eye opening and sinister.  See link below.

LATE TERM ABORTIONIST BITTEN BY ‘FETAL TISSUE’, SUES MOTHER

All was going well for Dr. Lucifer S. Morningstar at The Only Choice women’s health care clinic on King Street yesterday morning.  Dr Morningstar had a full schedule, and his first procedure was going well until the unexpected happened.

 

 “This particular fetus was very large and well developed, and I was having difficulty getting the forceps around what you would call the head on this fetal tissue. I had to use my hand as a guide, and inadvertently got my middle finger caught in the ‘mouth’  The fetal tissue then bit me and would not let go  It took me a couple of minutes to get my finger dislodged, but I twisted my wrist in the process.

 

Dr. Morningstar’s remaining schedule had to be cancelled and the Dr. reports he could be out of work for up to 3 weeks.

 

Due to Dr. Morningstar’s injury, the woman, who has only been identified as Hispanic, was rushed to the nearest hospital and delivered the baby, a healthy 7 pound girl.

 

Since that time, the mother learned she is being sued by Dr Morningstar.  “I’m distressed, and cannot believe I went in for a ‘legal and safe” procedure.  Now I have a baby I don’t want, and am being sued!”

 

The mother, a low income single parent, has asked the ACLU to represent her.  So far the ACLU has declined, and has released this statement. : “We have great empathy for the mother, but to represent her would put us in the situation of challenging what Dr. Morningstar does.  We believe Dr. Morningstar offers an invaluable service by providing fetal material in the large quantities that he does.  It would not serve the greater good to sanction Dr Morningstar in any way, shape or form.”

 

Lawyers on both sides of the issue, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, mentioned this case has possible constitutional ramifications. “Can a non person be charged with a crime”  ‘can charges be filed prior to being born” and is a mother liable for the behavior of her fetus, considered a non person. 

 

Other lawyers reported that if the baby was charged, prior to birth, as a human, the Doctor could also be charged with assault with intent to kill.  Another possible outcome would be potential ‘hate crime’ due to the fact the ‘fetal tissue’ is Hispanic and female and the doctor Caucasian and male.

 

Dora Jar, attorney for Dr. Morningstar reports the only viable alternative is to sue the mother for physical injury, lost wages and lost fees, as the Doctor’s malpractice insurance does not cover ‘attacks’ by non persons. “We do not want to acknowledge this fetal tissue as human, otherwise Dr. Morningstar would be out of business.” States Ms. Jar “We have no other alternative but to sue the mother.  Dr Morningstar is going to lose a great deal of money through lost fees, as well as not following through on promised delivery of fetal tissue to the local research universities and large pharmaceutical companies.”

 

When asked how much money Dr. Morningstar is liable to lose, Ms. Jar replied “A fetus in good condition can go for as much as $3,000.  The fetus that bit Dr. Morningstar was a great specimen, but is now a baby.  We want the mother to reimburse that loss to Dr. Morningstar.” 

 

When asked, Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger had this comment:  “I guess she did not want to be terminated”  He then paused and added “I could use someone like her to take on all these economic girly men in this state”.

 

I want to personally thank you for making this site number one on many searches through Google.  I have already been given positive feedback, and have received requests to post information.  Special thanks go to Missy Smith in utilizing this site as her primary source for dissemination of her press release.

 

I am going to discuss the rules of this site, and will be very strict in keeping them.

 

This is not a gossip site.  I will publish, edit or decline any submitted article based on factual content or lack thereof.  Personal attacks and innuendoes will not be published.  In the future I reserve the right to set up a feedback section of this site, to allow all to see both positive and negative feedback I receive. I will stay focused on the issues and the facts, and not get into any one’s personal or family issues.  I am hoping I get the same respect in return.  For anyone who may be offended by my ‘vigilance’, just remember: it is my bacon in the frying pan for the content of this site.

 

I also may delay in getting back to requests, as I have a successful career, family and other social obligations which I will not short change.  I do not receive any money for any of the pro life work I do, and this to me is a labor of love, coupled with a passion to see legalized child killing come to an end.

 

I opened this site as a forum to discuss, debate and defend pro lifers who are out on the front lines, and have been taking ‘shots in the back’ from others in the movement.

 

My ultimate desire is to take the fight straight to the evil doers who are the true enemy. I mentioned that I would do this through fact gathering as well as satire.  I have only written factually so far, and will be posting a satire piece directed at the enemy within a week.  As I said earlier, this is not for the faint hearted, and my satire will also be heavy and hard hitting.

Full statement of Missy Smith, Founder and President of W.A.K.E.U.P.

 

Scripture tells us: “The truth will set you free.”  I make this announcement, hoping to set the pro-life movement free from serious lies that have brought much scandal, pain, confusion, and division. 

A number of years ago I met Troy Newman; I had an affection for Troy, albeit somewhat new and superficial. I asked him to be on my board of advisors for the organization that I founded named W.A.K.E.U.P. He accepted and I have used his name on my letterhead since that time. We stayed in frequent contact over various issues and battles in the pro-life cause.

Three summers ago, Troy Newman made serious accusations against Randall Terry, and I believed them. The accusations proved to be lies. Among those lies were that Randall was suing Troy in Trademark Court for his mailing lists, his money, and his web-site. Since that time, I met Randall Terry, and came to have a deep respect and affection for him as well.

I began to have questions about the petition to the Trademark Commission over who owns the "mark," Operation Rescue.

I spoke with the most well respected lawyer I know: my husband, John Lewis Smith III.  Before retiring, my husband was the Managing Partner of the 10th largest law firm in America.  He explained to me that what is going on between Troy and Randall is not a lawsuit as such but a petition to the Trademark Commission to make a determination who actually owns the so called "mark", Operation Rescue. He confirmed what Randall and others had told me – that the Trademark office has no authority to award monies, websites or mailing lists.

I confronted Troy with this information, and in spite of the truth, he kept attacking Randall with these and other false allegations. Still hoping for sincerity in Troy Newman, and hoping to stop this public battle, I worked with a third party to mediate a meeting with Troy and Randall. Both parties agreed until the day arrived; Troy came down with an "earache," and couldn't fly to attend the meeting. I might have believed his "story," until I saw the same old letter with the same old lies being sent out from Troy at exactly the same time that we were going to meet on July 28th.  He again falsely claimed that Randall wanted his money, etc, and again attacked Randall Terry's character with false accusations.  As the old saying goes -"Screw me once, shame on you, screw me twice shame on me". If nothing else, everyone’s colors became apparent to me!

The mediator – in DC with me - was floored; I was angry that we had been taken in again by this provocateur.  This has become clear to me: this fight is not a about the so called "mark," Operation Rescue, but rather a deliberate attempt of character assassination of another pro-life leader’s character.  I can only guess that Satan is working thru Troy to bring down who many of us believe is the most powerful and effective leader that the pro-life movement has at this moment. What else can I surmise?
 
Therefore, do to this blatantly unchristian behavior, effective immediately; I have removed Troy Newman from my board of advisors. His repeated false, malicious, and public attacks on Randall Terry leave me no choice. His behavior is not one of good will, honesty or integrity; therefore I can not and will not have his name associated with such an organization that is truly dedicated to the truth, honesty, and the integrity of Our Lord and Our Lady. It appears that he has taken his eye off the prize which is the babies.
 
I pray for his soul as I do those that are behind this sinful "waging of war" against Randall Terry.

God have mercy on his soul as well as those behind this demonic work. May the shed blood of Jesus Christ cover them and bring them back to the light.
